What is the Pod?
The Pod is a nutrition logging necklace in development from Aspera, a brand of Aura Technologies LLC. The intended experience is to capture a short spoken description of a meal, then review a suggested food entry in the planned Pod app.
Can I buy a Pod today?

How far along is development?
We’re in early development, working on a Pod prototype and shaping the companion app. We’re focused on bringing the hardware and software together into a simple, everyday experience. Visit our development notes to see what we’re working toward.
The experience
Would the Pod listen all the time?
The planned interaction is press and hold to record, then release to finish. Always-on recording is not the intended experience. The website itself never requests microphone or Bluetooth access. Final recording behavior still needs to be implemented and validated.
Would I need my phone with me?
The proposed design includes saving recordings on the Pod and transferring them over Bluetooth when a phone is available. Offline capture, transfer reliability, and supported phones still need validation. There is no supported-device list yet.
How would a meal become a nutrition entry?
The planned flow is recording, transcription, food and portion suggestions, nutrition lookup, and your review. You would correct anything unclear before confirming the entry. The complete flow is still in development.
How accurate are the nutrition numbers?
Recent testing has reached 80% accuracy.
Can the Pod provide medical advice?
The Pod is being developed for general food logging. This site and its examples do not provide diagnosis, treatment, dietary prescriptions, or medical monitoring. No clinical benefit or medical-device approval is claimed.
Updates and privacy
What happens when I join the mailing list?
We save your email address, the signup location, the creation time, and the consent version for Aspera product updates. Joining does not create a Pod account or reserve hardware. See the privacy policy.
How do I stop updates or request deletion?
Email contact@aura-technologies.co with “Unsubscribe” or “Delete my signup” in the subject. Include the address you used to sign up; send from that address if possible. Please do not include meal recordings or sensitive health information.
