Aspera is a brand of Aura Technologies LLC. Aura Technologies LLC operates this website. Questions and requests about personal information can be sent to contact@aura-technologies.co.
The Pod necklace and Pod app are in development. This policy describes the current website, not a released Pod service. Any future collection of recordings, meal entries, or other product data will need a product-specific notice before that collection begins.
Information we receive
Product-update signups. When you submit the signup form, we store your email address, whether you signed up in the header or footer, a creation timestamp, and the version of the signup consent. A derived identifier based on your email is used to prevent duplicate records; it does not make the record anonymous.
Contact messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. Please avoid sending recordings, meal logs, or sensitive health information.
Website delivery. Hosting and network providers process request information needed to deliver and protect the site, which may include your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time.
How we use information
We use signup information to maintain the mailing list and send the Aspera product updates you requested, record your request to join, and avoid duplicate signups. Contact information is used to respond to your message and handle the request you made. Request information supports website delivery, troubleshooting, and security.
Joining the list does not create a product account, make a purchase, or grant access to a prototype. The website demonstrations use invented examples; they do not submit meal information or request microphone or Bluetooth access.
Service providers and sharing
Signup records are stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. The website submission endpoint sends the signup to that service; the public website does not provide a way to read the signup list.
Hosting, database, and email providers may process information needed to provide their services. Their infrastructure may process information outside the country where you live. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address misuse or security issues.
The current website does not include an advertising-data sale or sharing integration.
Retention and security
Signup records remain on the product-update list until removed. The current system does not automatically expire them. You can request removal at any time using the contact address below. We may need to retain limited information to honor your request, address a dispute, or meet a legal obligation.
The signup system restricts public reads, updates, and deletion of records. Those controls do not make any online service risk-free. Please do not submit confidential or sensitive information through the signup form.
Your choices and requests
To stop product updates, email contact@aura-technologies.co with “Unsubscribe” in the subject. To ask for access, correction, or deletion, use “Privacy request” and describe what you need. Send the request from the address you used to sign up where possible.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to certain processing of your information, and to withdraw consent. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. You may also be able to raise a concern with your local privacy authority.
Children and changes
This website and its signup form are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Materially different product data collection will be explained before that collection begins.
